Usage & Billing
The Usage & billing page of the dashboard (pictify.io/dashboard/billing) shows your monthly render meter first, then your plan, then your invoices.Usage Meter
- Renders used / limit for the current month. The meter resets on the first of each calendar month.
- Every render costs one render credit — one image, one GIF, one PDF, one video render, one item in a batch. GIF capture from a live URL costs 1.5. See Credits.
- AI operations draw from a separate AI-credit pool, also shown on the page.
Plans
Free includes full API access and watermark-free output. No credit card is required.
When You Hit the Limit
- Free: the API returns
429withcode: "quota_exceeded"(402on video endpoints) until the month resets or you upgrade. - Paid plans: the same, unless overage billing is enabled on the billing page. With overage on, rendering continues and the extra renders are billed at the end of the month at your plan’s per-render rate.
Changing Plans
Upgrade from Usage & billing or from pictify.io/dashboard/upgrade. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Payments and invoices are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Past invoices are listed on the billing page.Cost Tips
- Cache what does not change. Renders are hosted on the CDN; reuse the URL instead of re-rendering the same input.
- Batch similar renders. One
POST /batchrequest with many rows is easier to operate than many single calls. It costs the same: one credit per row. - Right-size dimensions. Render at the size you display.
